Since the fall of 2006, NeighborWorks® Greater Manchester has been working alongside West Granite residents and other neighborhood partners to improve and revitalize the West Granite neighborhood on the West Side of Manchester, N.H.
This revitalization effort received a big boost in the summer of 2009 with the awarding of $2.53 million in Neighborhood Stabilization Program funds. With these federal stimulus dollars the West Granite revitalization process is set to enter a new, more active stage.
This aim of WestGranite.com is to provide an online gathering place for all West Granite stakeholders — residents, property owners, business owners, employees and other institutions with an interest in the neighborhood. In addition to providing up-to-date information on the continuing neighborhood revitalization process, WestGranite.com provides stakeholders a place to connect with one another, learn about neighborhood goings-on, and share their neighborhood thoughts and observations.
